● Common Symptoms ●

Find What You're Feeling.

It starts small. A dull ache you can almost ignore. Sensitivity to cold. A crack you can't see. By the time it hurts, the problem is already deeper than the surface. We treat all of it, same day:

  • Urgent

    Severe toothache

A deep, throbbing ache that keeps you up at night usually means the nerve is involved.

  • Urgent

    Swelling and facial abscess

Facial swelling means infection is spreading beyond the tooth. This one cannot wait.

  • Urgent

    Dental infection

Pressure, bad taste, or a pimple on the gum are all signs of an active infection.

  • Urgent

    Knocked-out tooth

A tooth that has been fully knocked out can often be saved if you get here fast.

  • Urgent

    Loose or displaced tooth

A tooth pushed out of position or moving in its socket needs to be stabilized quickly.

  • Broken or chipped tooth

A cracked or broken tooth exposes the inner layers and gets worse with every bite.

  • Lost filling or crown

An open tooth where a filling or crown used to be is exposed to bacteria and pressure.

  • Dental implant emergency

A loose, painful, or failing implant needs a surgical eye on it, not a wait list.

  • Extreme sensitivity

Sharp pain from cold, heat, or air points to exposed dentin or a hidden crack.

  • Wisdom teeth pain

Pressure at the back of the jaw, swelling, or trouble opening your mouth.

  • Any other emergency

Not sure what is wrong? You do not need a diagnosis to be seen.

● Why It Hurts ●

Pain Doesn't Wait for a Good Time.

A cracked tooth, a lost filling, an ache that won't quit. Small problems rarely stay small. Painkillers buy you a few hours. They don't fix what's underneath.

Same-day care finds the actual cause and treats it, so you're not stuck guessing until Monday.

● Don't Wait ●

The Longer It Waits, the Worse It Gets.

Swelling, spreading pain, or a fever aren't things to sleep on. Left alone, a small issue can turn into a much bigger, more expensive one.

That's exactly what we're built for: emergency dentists and oral surgeons on site.

From our Google reviews, mostly written by people who walked in hurting.

Had a emergency. My tooth was hurting so bad, request for emergency check up. Had a dental emergency while on a work trip And they were able to accommodate everything that I needed. I really appreciate everything they do there.
Kelly S., Google
I have nothing but great things to say about my experience today. It was very important to me that the dr and staff be understanding of my level of anxiety coming in. I am very scared of the dentist due to prior experiences elsewhere. Dr. Daniel Arzanipour was amazing! Gentle, attentive and let me know each step of the way what was going on. Amazing bedside manner!

His assistant Joseline was also very welcoming and helped me feel comfortable from beginning to end.

Thank you so much to everyone today, as you have all made my fears fade away while sitting here. A million thanks!
Jessica S., Google
Wow! Who ever thought that getting a dental procedure could and would be so...PLEASANT? So effortless? So gentle? So transparent with their pricing? Smile Services was all of these things. I couldn’t be happier with the experience.

● Emergency Dental FAQ ●

What Patients Ask Us Most.

What counts as a dental emergency?

Severe tooth pain, a knocked-out or loose tooth, a cracked or broken tooth, swelling in the face or gums, bleeding that won't stop, or a lost filling or crown that's causing pain. If it hurts or something broke, it's worth getting seen.

Can you treat a dental emergency the same day?

Yes. Same-day emergency care is what this practice is built for. Most patients are seen within about an hour.

What should I do if my tooth gets knocked out?

Handle it by the crown, not the root. Gently rinse it, and if you can, place it back in the socket or keep it in milk. Then get to us right away. A knocked-out tooth has the best chance of being saved within the first hour.

Is facial or gum swelling a dental emergency?

Yes. Swelling in the jaw, cheek, or neck can signal a spreading infection or abscess and should be treated quickly. Call us right away.

Should I go to the ER or a dentist for tooth pain?

For tooth pain, infection, or a broken tooth, an emergency dentist can treat the actual cause. An ER usually can't. If you have difficulty breathing or swallowing, or trauma to the head, call 911 first.
